SUNDAY/MONDAY/THURSDAY NIGHT
3 VS 3 FOOTBALL @ 7PM


The footballs are being kicked, rocketed and fumbled in KE's lobby now. You will need to recruit your team event partners to play in the 3X3 playoff event. Choose your partners wisely, because they will be your partners for the whole season. Each team can have up to 4 members but only 3 can play at a time in the 3 VS 3. The 4th person is good to have in case someone goes MIA, then that person can sub. Plus all 4 can play the singles games to win extra points for thier team. The Sunday, Monday & Thursday Night 3 vs 3 Football tournaments only run at 7pm every Sunday, Monday & Thursday night. There will be singles games on the same days at select times to earn bonus points for your team.

The host of the 3 VS 3 tournament will be in the lobby at least an hour before the start of the tournament. The host will act as the coordinator of the teams and or help members join or make a new team. Just remember that if your team has 4 players and only 3 can play at a time, please be courteous and try to rotate so that everyone has a chance to play on a regular basis. This is something that the teams should discuss and come to an agreement on between themselves.

You need at least 4 teams (12 people) to have a valid tournament. More teams are always welcome and encouraged. JUST REMEMBER EACH TEAM REQUIRES 3 PLAYERS! The first member on the team will play the singles game of the hosts choice. The next two members on each team will play a DOUBLES game of the hosts choice. (NO AUTO WIN, NO AUTO LOSE GAMES ALLOWED). The scores of the two games are added together by the host to determine the winning team. IF A SUB IS NEEDED FOR ANY REASON ANY ONE OF THE TEAMS MEMBERS CAN SUB IF THEY CHOOSE. IF NOT, THEN ANY MEMBER IN THE LOBBY NOT ON A TEAM OR ONE OF THE STAFF MEMBERS CAN BE A SUB.

When the tourney closes and starts, the DOUBLES game pairings will be posted first. Once they are set, then the host will post the SINGLES game pairings. As the tables end, the host will record the scores from each game for each team. The scores from SINGLES PLAYERS GAME AND THE DOUBLES GAME are added together for the TOTAL TEAM SCORE. This is done for each match that was posted. The team with the highest score for the match is the winner, and marked as such on the tournament page. Once the winners for all matches are marked, the TD will advance to the next round in the normal fashion. IF AT ANY TIME BOTH TEAMS TIED SCORE THEN ALL 4 TABLES WILL PLAY 1 HAND AND SCORES RE-ADDED TO DETERMINE WINNER. Play continues in the same manner until one winning team remains.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET ALL 4 RED 3'S OR A RED CANASTA AND DONT FORGET TO WIN THE TOURNEY FOR POINTS ALSO FOR YOUR TEAM. CALL TD TO VERIFY GETTING EXTRA POINTS.


BASIC RULES FOR SEASON 2
SUBS:
If a player is MIA during the 3 VS 3 for any reason, any of the other players on that team has first choice to sub. If not, then any member in the lobby that is not on a team or a staff member can sub.

RULE CHANGES
Just like in all pro sports, leagues makes or tweaks various rules from year to year to make games more fair, competitive, fun etc. Our rules are basically the same from last year except for a few minor changes.

TEAM NAMES:
We ask that when picking your team name you pick an NFL team name.

START TIMES AND TEAMS:
We have had great success with the 3 VS 3 with lots of members wanting to play it. We have been having anywhere from 15 - 24 people in them, which is great. But with that in mind we have to set a few boundaries on time. ALL OF THE 3 VS 3 TOURNIES ARE UP A WEEK IN ADVANCE. WE ASK THAT YOU MAKE YOUR TEAMS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THE SAME DAY. MAKE YOUR TEAMS NO LATER THAN 1O MINUTES BEFORE START TIME PLEASE OR IT CAN BE DROPPED. THE TOURNEY WILL START ON TIME OR NO LATER THAN 15 MINUTES AFTER START TIME. IT IS NOT FAIR TO THE OTHER 18 TO 20 PLAYERS WAITING TO PLAY. IF YOUR TEAM IS ALREADY MADE AND YOU ARE RUNNING LATE IT IS EASIER TO GET YOU A SUB FOR 5 OR 10 MINUTES INSTEAD OF HOLDING UP THE WHOLE PARTY.

DQ'S AND FLAGRANT FOULS:
NO ONE LIKES TO DQ, BUT MISTAKES HAPPEN. FOR THE 3 VS 3 WE DID TWEAK THIS RULE SLIGHTLY. IN THE 3 VS 3 ONLY THEY WILL BE CALLED FLAGRANT FOULS. IF A TEAM DQ'S ON THE FIRST HAND ONLY IN THE ROUND IT WILL BE AN AUTOMATIC RESTART, BUT THAT TEAM WILL BE GIVEN A FLAGRANT FOUL. IF THE OTHER TEAM THEN DQ'S IN THE FIRST HAND OF THE SAME ROUND ITS AN AUTOMATIC RESTART AND THEY WILL GET A FLAGRANT FOUL. YOU CAN NOT DQ TWICE IN THE SAME ROUND. 2 DQ'S IN THE SAME ROUND BY THE SAME TEAM IS A DQ AND THE GAME OVER. YOUR TEAM WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED 3 FLAGRANT FOULS ON THE SEASON. IF YOUR TEAM HAS 3 FLAGRANT FOULS ON THE SEASON THEN IT WILL FALL BACK TO OUR STANDARD RULE WHERE ALL MUST AGREE TO RESTART. IF ALL DON'T AGREE THEN THE GAME IS OVER.

WHEN A DQ HAPPENS THE FLAGRANT FOUL IS ON THE WHOLE TEAM NOT THE INDIVIUAL PLAYER. WE KNOW MISTAKES HAPPEN, BUT REMEMBER THIS IS JUST A GAME AND WE ARE HERE TO HAVE FUN. WE ALL WANT TO WIN WHEN WE PLAY, BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE WIN AT ALL COST. IF IT IS DETERMINED BY THE ADMIN TEAM THAT A PLAYER DQUED ON PURPOSE FOR ANY REASON, EXAMPLE (NOT BEING ABLE TO MELD OR CANASTA, OR DOWN A BUNCH OF POINTS, ETC) THE TEAM AS A WHOLE WILL BE ISSUED 3 FLAGRANT FOULS. THIS WOULD BE CONSIDERED CHEATING AND THAT PLAYER CAN FACE DISCIPLINARY ACTION FROM THE LEAGUE ACCORDING TO OUR LEAGUE RULES, INCLUDING BOXING, REMOVAL FROM TEAM ETC.

THE REST OF THE DQ RULES ARE SAME AS LAST YEAR. AFTER THE FIRST HAND IF PLAYER 1 SINGLES DQ THEN THAT PLAYER LOSES 5000 TO ZERO. SO THIER PARTNERS IN THE DUBS MUST WIN BY 5000 POINTS TO HAVE A CHANCE TO ADVANCE. IN THE VERY RARE CASE OF IF PLAYER 1 SINGLES DQ'S AND THE PLAYER 2 DUBS TEAM DQUED THEN BOTH TABLES SCORES AT THE TIME OF THE DQ ARE ADDED TO DETERMINE THE WINNER.

IN THE SINGLES BONUS GAMES OUR STANDARD RULE APPLIES. IF YOU DQ IN THE FIRST HAND OF THE ROUND ALL MUST AGREE TO RESTART. IF ALL DON'T AGREE THEN THE GAME IS OVER. IF YOU DQ ANYTIME AFTER THE FIRST HAND THEN IT IS A DQ AND THE GAME IS OVER.
